Cargo container - a unit of reusable transport equipment designed for transportation and short-term storage of goods without intermediate overloads, convenient for mechanized loading and unloading, loading and unloading

Shipper - any natural or legal person who provides the carrier with cargo for transportation.

Consignee - any natural or legal person who carries out the acceptance of goods, registration of goods and transport documents and unloading of vehicles in the prescribed manner.

A contract of carriage of goods is a bilateral agreement between a carrier, a shipper or a consignee, which is a legal document that regulates the scope, terms and conditions of carriage of goods, the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the parties to comply with them.

A waybill is a document established by law that defines and keeps records of the operation of a motor vehicle.

Freight forwarder - an employee who ensures the performance of relevant operations of freight forwarding services during the transportation of goods.

Order for the carriage of goods - a document submitted by the shipper to the carrier for delivery of the agreed consignment of goods within the agreed time.

Customer - the consignor or consignee, who, respectively, entered into an agreement with the carrier for the carriage of goods.

Delivery of cargo - submission to the consignee by the carrier of cargo, according to the goods transport document, with the subsequent unloading and registration of the corresponding documents.

Marking - the required labels, images and symbols placed on the packaging or the goods themselves, which are shipped for proper transportation and delivery to the consignee.

Urban transportation - transportation of goods of heterogeneous structure within the city.

Long-distance transportation - transportation of goods carried out outside the city (settlement).

Volume of transportation - the amount of cargo transported or declared by the shipper and accepted by the carrier for delivery to the consignee (in tons).

Packaging - the formation and fastening of goods in a consolidated cargo unit, which ensures the delivery in the prescribed conditions of their integrity, preservation and allows mechanization of loading and unloading and warehousing.

Carrier - a person who provides services for the carriage of goods by public road transport.

The travel letter is the primary document on the account of freight automobile transportations which comprehensively characterizes work of the car and the driver from the moment of their departure from the motor transport enterprise and before return to the enterprise.

Acceptance of cargo - submission by the consignor of the cargo prepared for shipment and goods and transport documents to the carrier with the subsequent loading on the vehicle and registration of documents on acceptance of cargo by the carrier for shipment.

A trailer is a vehicle designed to travel in conjunction with a motor vehicle.

Truck tractor - a car, which by its design and equipment is designed to tow a semi-trailer.

Specialized car - a car, which by its design and equipment is designed to transport goods of certain categories.

Special car - a car, which by its design and equipment is designed to perform special work functions.

Container - the main element of packaging, which is a product for product placement.

Commodity-transport documentation - a set of legal documents on the basis of which accounting, acceptance, transfer, transportation, delivery of goods and mutual settlements between the participants of the transport process.

The consignment note is the only legal document for all participants of the transport process, which is intended for writing off inventory, accounting for their movement, posting, warehousing, operational and accounting, as well as for payments for transportation of goods and accounting for work performed.

Transport service - transportation of goods and a set of ancillary operations related to the delivery of goods by road.
